Day two of our adventure and it seems we have made a friend. So much so that this little fella will be making a cameo appearance in my new novel that is currently being written. Everybody, meet Barney. Barney, this is everybody. I know, I know. This is supposed to be erotic for Wicked Wednesday and most of you just won't get the connection yet. Well, first part of The Farms of Gray Wolf is going to be posted on Amazon for April 1, and then you just might understand. Until then, just know that he's a cool lil dude.
As a male, I don't think I quite understood the razor as an erotic tool until a friend asked me one, simple question: "Do you think I want a mouth full of hair?" Alas, my discovery of the razor, one of the more underrated erotic tools a man can use, for purely selfish reasons. Having gone and stayed clean-shaven recently, for the first time in over a decade, there are other better reasons.
"Jake, I have an idea." Jake felt his stomach drop on hearing the voice and these words. He turned to confirm it was Vance Vincent coming down the hall towards him. "Your ideas aren't usually good ones; you do know this." Vance ran a hand through his puff of brown hair standing up as though not touched after rolling out of bed. "You mean the cliffside car scene?" "Where the insurance drilled us after the car exploded at the bottom, yeah. There's that one, or the one with Melanie suspended over the staircase, or how about the cheap lights surrounding a king bed?" His eyes rolled upwards before Vance found a response. "Okay, true. This is nothing like those at all." Jake glanced into his office, already longing to escape and [Read more...]
Author's note: This week's Wicked Wednesday prompt is "Whispers"...and I must apologize as I went a little longer with this than the limit of 1200 words. Being I started at 2300 words after the first draft...I don't think I can cut anymore of it. “You blew off your stories of supers?” Gray crossed his arms and glared at me. “You bring us back and then just let us sit here while you go off and travel all over the world while we…” “Gray, Windsor.” Apple tapped him on the shoulder. He turned to her. “What?” “He only went to Windsor, Ontario. Not a world destination.” “Just a moment.” He held up a finger for me to wait. He whispered as if I wouldn’t hear him, “He needs guilt for not writing more about us.” The redhead drew in [Read more...]
Technically, this is about take seven on my annual blogoversary post. Realistically I missed it as it was three weeks ago, so let’s call this Phase II. A veiled Star Trek reference, as I’m so enjoying the new Star Trek Discovery series. It has been a quieter year for me on the site as I focus more on my larger publishing vision. Had some medical and life challenges that have made keeping up as I used to more difficult. I like to think we’re back to all-systems-go, but time will tell. This, however, is not the reason I had difficulty with this post specifically. Lately, it has been difficult reconciling with the reality of truth from facts. As an atheist, I’ve often joked that I’ll call your truth and raise you facts, but with the big [Read more...]
"Why the fuck did you give me glasses?" Gray asked and looked at me over the wire-rimmed frames. "Unlike the writer of this shyte, the characters don't need to get old. We should stay virile and strong." "Gray?" His eyes shifted to Apple sitting on the couch beside him. "Remember what happened the last time you pissed the writer off?" He shrugged. "What more can he do to me? I mean, he's been busy writing novels and has avoided us for four years. He can't have much left." Apple looked at me and gave a tight smirk. With a pop, Gray vanished. She looked at me. "I warned him. I like the dress, by the way. Much as I like being naked, there's something about high fashion." Her hands smoothed out the skirt of the [Read more...]
